Who We Are

A House you can call Home -

House of Joy Bible Centre was established by Pastor John Masango at Bethal on the 10th of November 2013. God gave him the vision to restore the joy of serving Him in Christians’ lives and the joy of knowing Him to those who do not know Him as Lord and Savior.

It is a house that seeks for guidance, for strength, for forgiveness, and for love, we seek the living God in every aspect of our lives. We show our love for God through song in worship, and we learn more about Him through His word.

In addition to devotions, prayers, praises, and thanksgiving, we seek the Lord everyday. Seeking God includes more than just allocating time to God. Our lives are dedicated to it. We hope you will join us to make it a part of your life, too!

Christ never meant for us to go through life alone.

In the book of Mat 22:39, Jesus calls us to love our neighbours as ourselves. In other words, Christians should support one another, counsel each other, teach one another, and encourage one another in the faith.

This is what we call “sharing our lives,” and it is an important part of our mission at the House of Joy Bible Centre. With us you can do this in many ways, including friendships, social gatherings, volunteering, and more. We encourage you to become part of the lives of those you meet at House of Joy Bible Centre. With the help of the Holy Spirit, they will become your friends, sharing your joys and supporting you in times of sorrow. Connecting with others is vital to living a joyous and fulfilling life!

The House of Joy Bible Centre we believe in the revival of God’s joy in the community of Bethal and the rest of the world through the preaching and teaching of the pure and undiluted Word of God (life changing messages) and surrendering to the power of the Holy Spirit through evangelism, love, worship, marriage counselling, youth development, rehabilitation and healing of the sick.

The Ministry aims to reach out to the lost souls, young people, children, married couples, people infected and affected by HIV/Aids and alcohol/drugs abuse by preaching in the Ministry, households, schools, rehabilitation centers, prisons, public hospitals and clinics.
